Meet Our Team
Brian Govberg has been sharing his passion for horology with friends, family, and watch enthusiasts as long as he can remember, having been raised against the backdrop of the luxury watch industry. He represents the fourth generation of the Govberg family to be actively engaged in the trade, holding the company’s founding traditions of excellence in client service and representation of exceptional product in the highest regard.
The Patek Philippe Boutique by Nineteen Sixteen Company represents a dynamic new venture for the Govberg family, a chapter which Brian is leading with tremendous pride.
Danny Govberg is a pioneering force of the contemporary watch industry. His vision and insatiable passion for watches and technology enabled the evolution of Govberg from a Philadelphia-based retail shop to one of the world’s premier authorized dealers. Nineteen Sixteen builds from that legacy and represents an extraordinary milestone, one shared with generations of the Govberg family and Patek Philippe: the opening of the Miami Patek Philippe Boutique – owned and operated by the Nineteen Sixteen Company.
Danny’s approach to luxury retail, coupled with a drive to confront challenge and an appetite for all things watch-related has led to several related ventures, business interests, and dynamic relationships throughout the last 35 years.
Maria Calello was born and raised in Cali, Colombia, and has lived in Miami for 18 years. Her journey in the luxury goods industry began in 2010 while studying Fashion Merchandising at Miami International University of Art and Design. She spent nearly a decade at Van Cleef & Arpels directing the Boca Raton boutique and has worked with prestigious brands such as Cartier and Rolex.
Maria offers a personalized approach to advising watch enthusiasts, founded on trust, expert horological insight, and the principles of Patek Philippe.
Outside of her role at Nineteen Sixteen Company, Maria is an avid concertgoer, travel enthusiast, and volunteer at Habitat for Humanity.
Keeno Parker is a luxury sales executive with more than 20 years of experience. He discovered his love for watches in 1996 during his tenure at a retailer in Ocho Rios, Jamaica. That year, Vacheron Constantin launched their Overseas collection, sparking his lifelong passion for horology.
Keeno has a deep understanding of the watch and luxury industries, informed by his work at prestigious brands such as Audemars Piguet, Cartier, Hermes, Gucci, and Lamborghini. He held leadership roles at each company, implementing effective strategies that promoted the highest level of client experience.
Client relationships are the foundation of Keeno’s professional goals. He looks forward to welcoming residents and visitors to Miami.
When he’s not at Nineteen Sixteen Company, Keeno spends his time reading primarily business books, traveling, and visiting art museums. He also has a mild obsession with Formula One racing.
Louis Maironi was born and raised in Paris, France. He discovered the watch world at a young age through his father, an avid collector. Learning about craftsmanship and micro-mechanized engineering ignited Louis’ longstanding passion for horology.
He went on to study the luxury goods industry and holds a Master’s degree from CREA Genève in Marketing and Communication for the luxury sector. While in school, Louis began working as a client advisor for Bremont Watch Company in New York City. He later became Junior Manager at Frederique Constant in Paris.
Louis recently made his way to Miami, where he joined the Nineteen Sixteen Company team. Through a deep understanding of the industry, the intricacies of watchmaking, and the culture of collecting, Louis provides clients with an excellent experience from start to finish.
Beyond watches, Louis enjoys spending his time on the tennis court, a pastime for the last 20 years.
